My aunt and I were discussing the importance of your outlook on life. We turned a somewhat mundane task into something more because of our outlook. We blasted tunes, talked about life, and made garlic hummus.

I love hummus so I truly loved executing this simple recipe. It was a magical experience with the music blasting and the shared moments between my aunt and I just simply making hummus.
The recipe requires: 1 can of drained chickpeas, 3 tbsp. of extra virgin olive oil., 3 tbsp. of tahini paste, 3 tbsp. of lemon juice, 2 tsp. of minced garlic, 3 tbsp. of water, 1 tsp. of paprika, 1/4 tsp. ground cumin (optional), 1 tbsp. of chopped parsley, and 1/2 tsp. of salt.
Directions:
Put chickpeas, oil, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, water, paprika, and cumin into a food processor.
Purée for about a minute or until smooth.
Stir the parsley in.
Enjoy!
We topped the hummus with more olive oil and more parsley! We kept the sides easy with some Triscuits and yellow bell peppers.
