I think I’m gonna start publishing my homework assignments. Well, only the ones I think are worthy. In my AP Psychology class, we were told to write about ways we can become better learners. Here is what I turned in!

Learning is a never-ending process that humans experience up until their point of death. A couple of the most important things learning contributes to are technological, cultural, and informational progress. Many observations of technological, cultural, and informational change throughout the decades can be seen. These observations help humanity understand and gauge the amount of success they have had or have in these areas of life. With the amount of progression humanity has made in the past years this also adds pressure to current and future generations to learn faster and progress. To learn quickly and efficiently is more important now than it ever was before because of the infinite access of information available. The ability to learn efficiently changes the outcome of results which creates a standard for society. All aspects of life are affected by how well one is able to learn so the goal is to teach people how to be highly effective learners. In order to get better at learning, one must practice how to digest different information from different sources and connect or relate those ideas to other concepts/subjects. Challenging your own beliefs is another way to improve learning skills because it will either strengthen beliefs or get rid of faulty ones. Humans enjoy the safety that regurgitating facts has to offer, so we won’t normally go out of our way to seek this contradictory knowledge. The last exercise that is helpful is deciphering whether the information is useful or not. This saves time and most of all our enjoyment.

If you made it this far, thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed it!
