Back-To-School Series Pt. 2: Stylish Shoes

Second on the list for the back-to-school series are shoes. Because I go to a school that requires me to wear a uniform, shoes are a great way to express yourself. Shoes can say a lot about your personality, which is accurate for myself and most of my friends, the ones who don't follow trends at least. In my last post I talked about having classy taste when it came to choosing a long-term item that will be used or worn everyday. I'm applying that same philosophy to the shoes as well!

These have been on my wish list forever, but I can't find them in my size at a reasonable price anywhere. The Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66's in silver are beautiful. Like I am absolutely in love with them and have been for months. Though I can't speak for the comfortability or durability, they're awesome looking so would it really matter how durable or comfortable???

I really liked seeing a trend with the adidas sambas with the off-duty super model looks, but they're definitely a more basic shoe. I saw the Adidas Originals Women's Gazelle Bold Shoes in black, and much preferred those. Although we're trying to keep it classy, we want some personality to shine through. These are much more interesting to look at with the three-outsole platform look and still keeping some class by keeping the iconic shape of the shoe.

Just hear me out on this one. These shoes have been ruined for me by the southern culture, and the way everyone completely personalizes them covered in neon pinks. But I feel like this brand could bring some edgy class to an outfit. Introducing Golden Gooses. I feel like these are either an absolute yes or an absolute no. Some people I talk to think it's just another dumb thing rich people spend money on, but I personally love the brand. A cool high-top with Levi's low rise baggy jeans and tight top. Idk. Just thinking aloud.

Another high-top that I think is cute and classy are the Zadig & Voltaire High Flash Studded Trim High Top Sneakers. If the Golden Gooses, aren't you, but you still want a cute high-top I would recommend these. They have this cool lightning strike down their back too!

I got these running shoes in June and although they are very trendy and I don't even run, they're the best. My goal for everyday is to walk five miles and these are great shoes to walk in. The On Women's Cloudswift 3 Running Shoes are so comfortable and the shape of the shoe makes me feel like I'm getting somewhat boosted forward. I love these shoes and think they're a great option to have in your closet.

My school also requires us to wear leather shoes for mass, so instead of wearing the boring Sperry's cute flats could be the go-to. I am dying to get these Coach Alina Ballet Flats.
